Bratislava. Slovakia.

Nowadays I saw a movie. Just a comedy with the title Eurotrip. Nothing special, just a typical American romantic comedy, where the guy is travelling around Europe just to find a girl. It was quite funny, but just a classic story with classic scenes, moves and phrases. Why I decided to write about this usual movie? Just continue reading...
There was a short but on the other side very expressive part about Bratislava. Slovakia. Before I would say anything about that, please check out the scene I'm talking about. Here you have it (from 1:45):
First reaction? Yes! Funny! Everyone outside of Slovakia can laugh. Foreigners, here is the place of loud laughing.
But actually I was laughing and crying at the same time. Yes, this is the place, where I live. This is the place where we, Slovakians, are living. And this is the video which shows, how the Americans see us. As the man said, "it can be very depressive". It's sad how the world thinks about Slovakia. And what is distressing, there is some truth about that. Even if (as I heard) the scene was recorded in Czech Republic or Austria, whatever. It doesn't matter which ghetto are we looking at the movie. The point is how they introduce us, Slovakia. It's a shame!
This is the main reason why I hate this country. It's so depressive, cold, boring with a stupid political government. As a Hungarian I belong to this minority in this ("my") country. What a coincidence, we are before elections. Everyone knows that every politican is just a f*cking lier. I'm ok with that. But when I see a huge billboard in the middle of the capital with the text: "From Tatras to Danube only in Slovak!", I start to think why should I love this place, why should I live, why should I stay here? (for those who didn't get it: Slovakia is located between the mountains Tatras and river Danube) Obviously "they" want to banish me/us. And the people often believe/trust these motherf*ckers. They are close minded and just "stucked" here. Those who have never been abroad, can't even imagine a life outside of the border.
I don't want to belong to the average, who suffers and puts up with these unsolved problems. Why should I give some respect if there are people who think like that. I would rather (not run! just) move from here and start to live a free life without stupid unnecesarry problems. Cheer up "that's how it supposed to be: living young and wild and free" :)
