Happy hours

Hello Everyone! A lot happened in the past days/weeks, I don't even know where to start the story. Let's take everything in chronological order.

The Maltese Night Life

Hi folks, I apologize for the delay, suddenly there were too much programs and events to attend. And of course there were also moments when I felt bored, but I spent that time with watching my movies and TV shows instead :D But I'm back now! As in the past 1.5 week we went "out" several times, I decided to write a Malta Night Life review colored with pictures.

The Maltese

Well, well, well... so officially moved Malta. It's not like just a quick jump to the Rocks when it's hot and sunny anymore. There will be rainy and cold days and I still will have to call it as my Home. All the people are coming back here even it's not the most perfect place to stay. There is something on this island what makes it glamorous and magical. True, Malta has a heart.

My Notte Bianca in la Valletta

So as I promised here is the article about the Notte Bianca event from the past Saturday (29th September 2012). For those who don't know what stands behind the title, feel free to check the official Maltese website. Notte Bianca (EN: White Night, FR: Nuit Blanche) is an annually held night-time art-festival celebrating the culture. It's organised worldwide.

Princess in Bratislava

Do you know what I mean when I say "swing"? Swing music is a style of jazz played by big bands in the 1930s for dancing audience. Well, yes, it was long time ago. Today the youth is not listening this style anymore, most of them are addicted to this commercial music played in radios. Fortunatelly Marcus Füreder (Parov Stelar),a musician-DJ from Austria got this brilliant idea to save what is left from swing. He is a founder of a new genre called "eletronic swing" - fusing classic swing with popular music. What can I say? He did it good. In 2005 in collaboration with other musicians Parov Stelar Band started to perform live sets.
Today Parov Stelar Band represents this amazing unimitable style, they are world famous, luring hundreds of people to their concert areas. This Friday I was one of those lucky hundreds, who could swing live together with the band on their Princess world tour.

A good day

It was a really good Saturday (15th September 2012). I gathered my friends and we were heading to Bratislava, to Dobrý Trh (in English "Good Market"). I love markets. I love the atmosphere, the people walking around and dealing about the price with the sellers, the typical fast food and mullet wine. This is a perfect weekend program and it worths even if you have to wake up early morning on your free days. I was always missing events like that in this country. After I visited some markets abroad, like the huge 50 000 marea Kolbenka in Prague or the market&park in Berlin, I was very happy to hear Bratislava is organising it as well. Finally!

YOU all there, be prepared for me, you will have veeery short time to get in touch with me. Girls, I'm counting with a Welcome party, minimum as good as the Byebye party was and then unfortunatelly I have to leave you again. So now go and read about the details what happened in Malta since the last post and how is my life going on in the future.

Free Hugs In Bratislava

Hello everyone!
This article is just a simple invitation for this event in Bratislava city. So, sorry friends from other parts of the world this is just for Slovakians. But I'm pretty sure you already had or will have in the future event like this.
So, I'd like to call everyone today afternoon to attend, give or get a free hug. I personally LOVE HUGGING. This is a gesture, what is just a small thing, but can make the others much happier. When my friends are sad, I always hugging them. íSomeone said I'm very touchy girl. :) It's probably true, but who cares? I prefer hugging instead of just standing there and doing nothing when I see somebody needs it. I like to give hugs.
Sometimes I'm also dying for a big, true and honest hug. Of course I don't get it every time, but at least this day is about taking care of each other.
So go and give a hug, or go and get a hug. Your day will be much happier after that I swear.
INFO: Bratislava, square SNP, 16:30-19:00 and paper with text FREE HUGS!
So have a nice hug today :)

So guys, just LIKE as you always do it every day :)
And if you really love me and want to support me, you can even share my photo on your walls. Thank you!

3 months

After 3 months that I started to "blog" on this site, today I checked the "stats" in detail for the first time. I have to say I was very surprised. Now I see it worthed to suffer with writing in the foreign English language, I can see there are so many readers around the world. So I'm very glad and proud and I want to thank you all, wherever in the big universe you are reading the lines of this little girl :) And I just would like to ask one more thing: Go on and continue! :)

Life Is A Carnival

I just simply can't stop listening this song:

Sorry, I must share this joy with you too :) So if you like it, play it once, play it twice, play it hundred times. And bailar :D
Latin-american music will always be my weakness. I looove this music and I just adore all the people who can dance and shake their ass the way like they, the original Brasilians do. Oh, I'm so jealous! :)
BTW the song (La Vida Es Un Carnaval = Life Is A Carnival) is very actual as I am reading on Facebook, posts of my friends staying in Brasil say it is/was the Carneval-time over there. So I just want to send greetings to all of them. And guys, I hate you so much! <3

Is It Valentine?

I've just found the perfect Valentine-song for Valentine's Day or rather the perfect erotic song for Valentine's Night :)
"So use it" :)

Even if thousands of people are extremely sad and lonely today (trust me I know how does it feel), I think it should be one day in a year, when the couples celebrate their relationship. Valentine is exactly like mother's day, women's day or your birthday. Need to be celebrated. And the singles? The singles simply have to survive this day.
Dear lovers, of course don't forget to love your girl/boyfriend or wife/husband on the other days of the year, not just today. Check out Google's animation for Valentine (click). It's 100% true, learn from it.

Spread the love,
T.

PhD?

I survived my very first scientific conference as a PhD student. I could say it was horrible, but I'll not. So here is the story:
